Buhari Will Perform Better Than Jonathan- Obasanjo Assures

My Ikoyi Home Has Been Under Surveillance By Battle-Ready Soldiers For 3 Days- Tinubu Says

Here's a press statement from his media office.

For three straight days, the private residence of the national leader of the APC, Bola Tinubu, has been under surveillance by battle-ready and helmet-wearing soldiers. Numbering close to thirty and riding in three patrol vans and an army trucs stationed close to the entrance of the gate to Tinubu’s house along Bourdillon Road in Ikoyi, they have become a permanent feature. Their obvious target, Tinubu himself and perhaps the hordes of politicians and visitors that visit his Bourdillon residence.

The soldiers were first noticed on Sunday a few minutes to 11pm in an army truck. They stationed about 500 meters away from Tinubu’s gate. Later they moved close to his gate as if making efforts to enter. The stern looking soldiers were around for hours on Sunday and returned on Monday to continue their surveillance. Monday night about 10.45pm, they returned to the residence in two army vans and were there throughout the night. Some of the soldiers discharged from the van and walked back and forth in front of the house and around the house in what is clearly some casing effort.

Election Is Not A Do Or Die Affair, Oritsejafor Warns

The President of CAN and Founder of World of Life Bible Church, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor has warned politicians not to see the forthcoming elections as a do or die affairs. I his words Oritsejafor said;

“I am puzzled about the conducts of some politicians in the country, especially their political intolerance. Is politics not supposed to be service to the people? If you get into any political position, you should be there to serve the people.

“Therefore, if the essence is for you to serve, who are you going to serve when the people you want to serve die in the process of election? I want to use this opportunity to appeal to our politicians again that it is not a do or die affair.

“Let us remember that election will come and go and Nigeria will remain. So, let us play the game according to the rules. I appeal to your conscience and to your heart. I watch television; I see how a lot of people are being maimed and killed. Let us do what is right so that Nigeria will remain Nigeria”.

Iyanya Explains Why He Never Date A Celebrity Again

In an interview with Punch. When asked. What kind of woman do you want to settle down with? he replied;

A good woman is a good woman. You can’t just sit and say this is the kind of woman I want. Some people think the best place to get a girl is in the church; meanwhile, you can get the wrong girl in the right place. Sometimes, I am worried about getting the right woman to marry because of my status. I have had one or two women come into my life and act like they are something. The safest thing to do is marry someone you have known before you became a star.

After Yvonne Nelson, would you date a celebrity in the future?

Yvonne Nelson is an amazing person, but I would never ever in my life date or have anything to do with a female star. I am not cut out for that kind of drama.
