Here are more tips as a follow up from last week on personal development that will be beneficial to you.
Let’s play chess; it’s time to learn how to play chess or any strategy game: Chess is a terrific game to learn strategy and hone your brain power. Not only do you have fun, you also get to exercise your analytical skills.
Where are our mentors; get a mentor or coach: There’s no faster way to improve than to have someone work with you on your goals.
Feedback Time; let’s begin to ask for feedback: Listen to constructive criticism; it will make you a better person.
Start a 30 day challenge: set a goal and give yourself 30 days to achieve it.
Let go of the past; put it behind you: are you holding on to any grievance, hurt or unhappiness from the past? It prevents you from moving on and becoming a better person. Break away from the past, forgive yourself and move on.
Finally, identify your blind spots: In personal development terms, blind spots are things about ourselves we are unaware of. Discovering your blind spot helps you discover areas for improvement. One way of discovering a blind spot is by identifying all the things, events or people that triggered or affected you during the day and your reactions. Your reaction may lead you to that blind spot, so figure it out and find ways of addressing it.
