Al-Makura Approves Increment of Nasarawa State Corpers’ Allowee

It is the best of times for NYSC members posted to Nasarawa state as Governor Umaru Al-Makura in an extremely rare act of kindness has approved an upward review of their allowances.
While addressing the 1,782 corps members at the end of the 3-weeks orientation camp for Batch C corps members held at the Majaji Dan –Yamusa, NYSC, orientation camp in Keffi yesterday, the governor announced the astronomical increase. Al-Makura said the allowance would be increased from the meager N2,000 to  N5,000 per month because of the current harsh economic situation in the country.
