New Michael Jackson album release date announced

There's a new Michael Jackson album..five years after his death. Sony and Epic Records today announced a plan to release a posthumous Michael Jackson album titled Xscape

Epic CEO L.A. Reid handpicked eight previously unreleased tracks by Michael Jackson, which have been 'contemporised for modern ears' and added new production by Timbaland and Rodney Jerkins.

The album drops May 13th.

CAN President, Oristsejafor tells why Pastors are richer than their members

President of the Christian Association of Nigeria, Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor recently bared his mind concerning the controversies surrounding churches and their flamboyant pastors.

On why there are so many poor people in churches yet rich pastors, Oritsejafor who recently completed an ultra modern 40,000 capacity church auditorium in Warri, Delta State, said


“Remember that the pastors are pasturing both the poor and the rich. They are all in the same assembly. Both the poor and the rich, those who have the means in the church take time to be kind to their pastors. That is something most people don’t realize.

They give their pastors money, food and different things. For example, a member of the church goes to his pastor and says, ‘I feel led to give you a car. Take this car.’ Now the pastor has a car. Did he steal it? As I sit here talking to you now, I can tell you that I am training almost 100 people in institutions of higher learning. Nobody is going to broadcast that.

On every 26th of December, I organize what I call poverty alleviation. I have been doing it now for about eight years.”

When asked to explain why churches milk the poor, the CAN president and Senior pastor of Word of Life Bible Church, said:

"People don’t understand what they say about the church milking the poor. Can a poor man have money to pay tithe? A man who has no job, can he pay tithe? No, he won’t be able to pay. So how do you milk a man who has no milk? In a church, you have both the poor and the rich. It is generally not the poor that finance the church.

It is those with the means. A man, for example, who earns N10,000, how much is his tithe? His tithe is N1,000. A man who earns N500,000, how much is his tithe? His tithe is 10 per cent which is N50,000. How much would you milk from a man who pays a tithe of N1000?

“We won’t say things like this usually because the church is a level-playing ground. Whether you are poor or you are rich, God sees everybody as equal. It is because of a question like this that sometimes, we have to take time to analyse things.

I even hear people say that the poor give money to start schools, but their children cannot go to the schools. How will they give this money when they are poor? The truth is that, the people who actually give this money are those who have the means to do so. Those people make it possible for churches to start schools. Now again, why do churches charge high fees in school? You didn’t ask me that, but I’m just throwing that in free. People must understand that there is a standard." he told Punch

Lol Giant Rat That Terrorized Family Killed At Last (WARNING: Graphic Image)

A Swedish family's three-week nightmare is over: Ratzilla has been killed.

The gigantic rat that invaded the home of Erik Korsas and Signe Bengtsoon and set up shop under their kitchen sink was dubbed Ratzilla by the news media.

The couple suspected there was some kind of animal invader, but they didn't imagine an oversized rodent was in their midst.

"We thought it could be a little mouse, but after a while we figured it couldn't be because it was making too much noise," Bengtsson told The Local.

She got the shock of her life a few days later when she discovered the mutant gulping down leftovers under the sink.

"It was right there in our rubbish bin, a mighty monster. I was petrified. I couldn't believe such a big rat could exist," she told the website. "I couldn't help but do the old classic and jump on the kitchen table and scream."

The pest apparently got into the kitchen through a ventilation pipe, after gnawing through cement and wood.

Ratzilla was so horrifying that the family cat refused to enter the kitchen, the BBC reports.

Eventually, the rat was trapped by its neck, but took its sweet time dying, preferring to crawl behind the dishwasher for its final moments on Earth.

The carcass measured about 16 inches in length, not counting the tail, and weighed around 2.2 pounds.

"The kids were afraid it would come back to life as some sort of zombie rat. They didn't want to touch it," Korsas told The Local.

NYPD shuts down Davido's NY concert because it was over-packed

You have to be a really special artist for this to happen to you. The New York Police Department last night March 28th shut down Davido's concert which held at Pulse 48 in Brooklyn because the concert was overbooked, leading to safety concerns.

People going to the concert caused shut down of two blocks in Brooklyn, forcing the police to intervene.

The show yesterday was supposed to be Davido's first show as he kicks off US/Canada Tour 2014. He has a show in D.C today and Minnesota tomorrow. Then Dallas, Texas on Friday the 4th of April, then makes a final stop in Toronto, Canada on the 5th of April.

Outsmart Your Belly Fat

These three simple routines can tighten your abs and help define your waistline. Makeover over your abs, by doing these exercises three times a week.

• Rotating Sit-Ups

Lie down with knees bent and feet flat on floor. Put hands behind head. Lift head and shoulders off floor and twist torso to the left. Lower to starting position and lift again, this time twisting to the right. Repeat 20 times on each side for one set. Complete three sets.

• Side Crunch

Start in same position as exercise above; lower knees to the right side. With hands behind head, lift head and shoulders straight up off floor. Pause, then return them to the beginning position. Do two sets of 10 with knees to right side, then lower knees to left side and repeat for two more sets.

• Plank

Lie on stomach with elbows on floor under shoulders, forearms flat on ground. Engage core muscles by imagining you’re tightening a corset around your midsection. Keeping forearms on ground, slowly lift torso and thighs off floor; torso and legs are rigid. Start with a hold time of 30 seconds and increase it by 30 seconds each week until you can hold this position for 2 minutes without compromising your form.

‘Sleeping delegate’ at the National Conference Has Died

An elderly male delegate at the ongoing National Conference, who became popular after a photo of him sleeping went viral, has died.

The deceased, identified as Hamma Misau, is said to have given up the ghost at the National Hospital in Abuja.

He was 67 years old.

According to Sahara Reporters:

A delegate at the ongoing National Conference in Nigeria, retired police AIG Hamma Misau has died at the National Hospital in Abuja. Mallam Misau died last night of an undisclosed illness at the age of 67.
Mallam Misau became famous after a photo of him taking a nap at the conference was shared on social media three days ago.
Barrister Mohammed Hamma a cousin to the retired police officer confirmed his demise to SaharaReporters. He said a Muslim funeral is due shortly in Bauchi for the late delegate. Mallam Hamma Misau hails from Misau in Bauchi state.

 Singer Margaret Mary Oluwatoyin Ejiro Joseph popularly known as Zara Gretti has died. She died this morning in Nigeria after a battle with Multiple Sclerosis. (MS is an autoimmune disease that affects the brain and spinal cord).

Her last tweet last night was “I love and hate my life”. She died a few hours later, this morning. Zara was only 28 years old. Zara, may your beautiful soul rest in perfect peace. This is so sad!

Popular Nollywood Actor Emeka Enyiocha Engages in messy street fight With Brother

Popular Nollywood actor, Emeka Enyiocha who recently welcomed his third child got into a public fight with his younger brother on Monday night of March 24, 2014 at the Surulere area of Lagos.
The married father of three, Emeka Enyiocha had employed the services of his younger brother, Maduabuchi to help him run his bar located on Modupe Johnson Street who in turn employed someone else named Onyeka to help him manage the bar.
On that fateful Monday, trouble started after Emeka walked into the bar about 11.00pm in the night, confrontingthe barman about certain sales he had made earlier in the day.
Apparently not satisfied with the reply he got was reported to have suddenly bounced on the boy, beating him black and blue.
During this process, Emeka’s brother, Maduabuchi decided to intervene by helping the boy ( who happens to be an orphan)
but he instead Emeka started a fight with him even went ahead to pursue him into the street with a long stick, caught up with him and head butted him, giving him a cut in the face and breaking his hand.
Residents of Modupe Johnson Street tried to intervene but Emeka, in anger called officers from Bode Thomas police station and had his brother and the barman arrested.
They were locked up at the Bode Thomas police station for 24 hours and were released on Tuesday..

According to Punch, a source close to the couple has confirmed to them that the lovebirds’ relationship is over. According to the unnamed source, Wizkid and Tania went their separate ways last
December. Although the reason for their split is still unknown, the source was doubtful whether either of them was in a relationship.

“They have split for a long time now. In fact, I think it was since December. I don’t know why they broke up and I don’t know if Wizkid is in another relationship but they are no more together,” the source said.

When Saturday Beats called the singer’s manger, Godwin Tom, to confirm the split, he did not pick his calls neither did he reply the text message sent to him.
