Nollywood diva, Genevieve Nnaji has remained one of the most sought after and hottest actress in the industry.

Its no wonder many have and will continue to profess their love for the talented actress. As is the case of Nigerian reggae artiste, Yung L who reveals he has a crush on the actress.

Ladies, The Bigger The Bu'tt, The Longer You'll Live - New Research Reveals

Finally! Multiple studies are proving that the voluptuous figures of countless Black women possess more benefits than just aesthetic perks, those curves may actually help them live longer. But why is this?
According to experts, the type of fat found in the thighs and backside may actually help reduce disease, as opposed to the dangerous and life-threatening effects of abdominal fat.
“The fact that body fat’s distribution is quite important for your health has been known for some time now,” said lead researcher Konstantinos Manolopoulos of the University of Oxford in England.
The review also suggests a mechanism for conveying those benefits. According to the experts, the next step is to figure out how our bodies decide where to store fat, say, in the stomach versus the bu'tt.
“Once this is understood then one could think about therapeutic approaches to make use of that ,” Manolopoulos said. “Maybe to make use (of it) in a preventive way by redistributing the fat.”
Don’t take this news the wrong way though. This is only true to a certain degree as obesity increases your chances of developing chronic health conditions. This is because, per studies, researchers found that not all fat is created equal.

EXPOSED! UK Think-Tank Links APC With Boko Haram, Warns US To Steer Clear Of APC (DETAILS)

A conservative think-tank based in the United Kingdom has published a potentially explosive report in which it says that Nigerian opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has members linked with Boko Haram operations in the Nigeria.
Bow Group presents a report titled ‘Exposing and Defeating Boko Haram’ and published on its website. The brain-trust asserts, “An early investigation into the backers of Boko Haram and their links to the APC, followed by potential sanctions designed to prevent Nigeria becoming a future safe-haven for terrorists, and threat to UK citizens at home and abroad, therefore seems an appropriate and important strategy to prevent future terrorist threats before they take hold.”
The report which is authored by Jacob Zen, a research analyst who has written extensively about Boko Haram and Northern Nigeria, also warns the United States of America on meddling in the politics of Nigeria.
“There are concerns in the international community and Nigeria that the U.S. Democratic Party or its advisers may be associating themselves with northern Nigerian. politicians, despite reported links to Boko Haram.
“Any political pact between US officials and the APC carries risks – the US must adopt a neutral approach to the Nigerian elections and political landscape,” the report says.
The group also calls for the immediate commission of an international investigation that can bring against political and business leaders in Nigeria and abroad who are financing Boko Haram.

Nigerian Soldiers Are Escaping Due To Fear Of Boko Haram –– Chief of Army Staff

Chief of Army Staff, Lt.- Gen. Kenneth Minimah has revealed that some army personnel have abandoned the force due to the fear of the deadly terrorists group, Boko Haram. Minimah, who made the revelation during a working tour of Lagos and its environs on Tuesday, condemned the actions of some soldiers who deserted the Force for fear of engaging in battle against Boko Haram.
“Sometimes, journalists ask me questions, saying soldiers are deserting their jobs because they don’t want to be killed in the North East. I tell them yes, it is true. Desertion is part of war. A real soldier is known when he is put in the warfront. The one who is not a soldier would run away and abandon his job. Our soldiers are recruited from the Nigerian society and, today, most people are not called to be soldiers, they joined because they are desperately in need of jobs...
“As long as there is war, there would continue to be desertion and there would continue to be recruitment. Since Alexander The Great, soldiers have been deserting. In the Second World War, there was desertion and even in the Nigeria Civil War, people deserted. It is only in peacetime that you don’t see people deserting. But those who volunteer to fight and defend their nation do not desert; they fight until there is victory.”

Lt.-Gen. Minimah warned soldiers resident in Lagos to obey the laws of the state and be of good behavior.

He said: “As a disciplined institution (Army) we have an image to protect. I would admonish you to be of good conduct whether in uniform or not, conduct yourselves very well. Do not be involved in any questionable movement.

“Respect the rule of law. Respect the laws of Lagos. Lagos State has laws that are made by legislators, you must respect those laws. I am also talking about the BRT lanes. Try and ensure that you don’t use the BRT lanes. The essence of BRT lanes is to encourage the use of public transportation by car owners so as to reduce traffic on our roads.”

The girl had been declared dead by doctors at a local hospital on Friday July 11th after being taken there the day before suffering from a fever for several days.

Her parents took her to the church the next day, with family and friends gathered for the burial when the unthinkable happened. It was only when one of her parents' neighbours removed the lid of the coffin to arrange the girl's remains that she saw the little girl's head move. She immediately alerted the girl's father who quickly removed her from the coffin and took her to hospital. It was later found that the girl was in a state of comatose, not dead.

Fifa Issues A Warning To Nigeria To Comply With The Rules Or Face Suspension

Football's world governing body has given Nigeria's government until 8 July to reinstate the sacked Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) executive committee.
The NFF was dissolved on Thursday and replaced by a sole administrator - a move the government said was essential while legal proceedings against the country's football authority were ongoing.

The situation was compounded 24 hours later when the NFF president Aminu Maigari was arrested upon his return from the World Cup.
All this comes in the wake of a high court ruling which granted 'an interlocutory injunction' to suspend Maigari, his executive committee and the NFF congress.

Fifa statement

Fifa, however, has taken a dim view of the development and warned that Nigeria risked suspension if the sacked officials are not reinstated.
Under Fifa statutes, national football associations must not be subject to government control.

"FIFA has also taken note of the detention of NFF President Aminu Maigari carried out by representatives of the Department of the State Security Service," the Zurich-based governing body said in a statement.
The statement went on: "FIFA will not recognise any person or organ not elected in compliance with the NFF statutes (article 17, par 2 and 3 of the FIFA Statutes) and therefore it will not consider the appointment made by the Minister of Sports. An elective Congress has been duly convened by the NFF for 26 August 2014 and only decisions and persons elected then will be considered legitimate.

"FIFA is also aware that the Minister of Sport has appointed an assistant director to take charge of the NFF. It is alleged that the members of the NFF have been convened to attend an Extraordinary Congress on 5 July 2014 in Abuja.

"FIFA has reminded the NFF that all FIFA member associations have to manage their affairs independently and without influence of any third parties as clearly stipulated in articles 13, par. 1 and 17, par. 1 of the FIFA Statutes. The above mentioned actions are preventing the NFF from managing its affairs independently and are considered by FIFA as undue interference in the NFF affairs.

"The NFF has been asked to relay FIFA's position to the relevant authorities and inform them that if the aforementioned NFF officials are not fully reinstated by Tuesday 8 July 2014 the case will be referred to the appropriate FIFA bodies for sanctions, including the potential suspension of the NFF."

Fifa rules protect its members from government interference, and a suspension bars teams and officials from taking part in international matches and meetings.

More than 60 Women, Girls Escape Boko Haram Abductors in Nigeria

More than 60 women and girls abducted last month by suspected Boko Haram militants in northeast Nigeria have escaped their captors, AFP sources said Sunday.

Local vigilante Abbas Gava said he had "received an alert from my colleagues ... that about 63 of the abducted women and girls had made it back home" late Friday. A high-level security source in the Borno state capital Maiduguri, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, confirmed the escape.

Gava, a senior official of the local vigilantes in Borno State who are working closely with security
officials, told journalists the women escaped when their captors went out to fight.
"They took the bold step when their abductors moved out to carry out an operation," he said.
Clashes took place between the Islamists and the army late Friday after an attack by the insurgents in the town of Damboa, where more than 50 of them were killed, the army had said.

Spokesmen for the armed forces or the government could not be reached Sunday for comment.

Activist Aisha Yesufu told the press after about 50 members of the Bring Back Our Girls movement tried Sunday to march to the presidential palace in Abuja but were asked by security forces to turn back:
""It's 83 days today that the girls have been abducted. We have been coming out for 68 days and nobody has really listened to us. That is why the group "decided that we should just take the protest back to the President so that he will know that we are still out there after the 68 days that we have been coming out daily".

Security experts say the overstretched and under-resourced military is incapable of fighting an effective counterinsurgency against the Boko Haram militants, who have killed thousands in their five-year campaign for an independent Islamic state in the north.
