Governor Fashola commissions 10.6mw IPP Alausa power project

Governor of Lagos state, Mr Babatunde fashola commisioned a new 10.6 MW power generation project at the State Secretariat Alausa Ikeja, Lagos on Thursday, October 17, 2013.

Fashola was with His Deputy, Hon. (Mrs) Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire, Commissioner for Energy and Mineral Resources, Engr. Taofeek Tijani, his Finance counterpart, Mr. Ayo Gbeleyi, Group Managing Director, Oando Plc, Mr. Wale Tinubu, Managing Director/CEO, Fidelity Bank Plc, Mr. Regina Ihejiahi, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Mrs. Regina Iyabo Obasa and the Chairman, House Committee on Energy and Mineral Resources, Hon. Lanre Ogunyemi at the commissioning. The project was aimed at solving the recurrent problem of power failure in Lagos.
