By now I am sure you must be aware of the raging battle between record label Chocolate City and recording artiste Brymo. I just received reports that the two parties have had their first court hearing which was presided over by Justice Bubba.
The initial hearing held on November 11, 2013 at the Federal High Court, Lagos with the defendant (Brymo and his counsel) missing. The plaintiff (Chocolate City) were however present and represented by Ms. C.O Madubuko from L and A Legal Consultants.
We hear that Brymo and his team turned down the court appearance because according to them, Brymo has not been served any court papers and therefore will not appear in court.
The new date for the hearing is now 5th December, 2013 and we will keep you posted on the goings-on.
